Conference Dedicated to President Heydar Aliyev

On September 21, the Azerbaijan Society of Maine held an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern and independent Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev is remembered as a pioneering leader who dedicated his life to the development and progress of his people, and we cherish his memory.

ASM hosted the conference, “Caspian Corridor: Azerbaijan’s Contribution to European Energy Diversification,” in Aliyev’s honor. The event was highlighted by a performance from Emil Afrasiyab, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan and a renowned musician, pianist and jazz composer.
